I helped with our local Relay for Life this year in Black Mountain (Western NC). I work as a Public Relations Assistant for a small college in town, and helped get the word out about our Relay.
I was amazed at the turnout and spirit of the gathering. During the candle walk ceremony I got some long exposure shots of the scene that really capture the moment for me -- such a bittersweet mouthful of a memory.
