My Number 1 hero is my mother. She is extremely courageous, determined and passionate. Others in her position might have thrown in the towel, but every day she wakes up determined to fight and win. Through it all, she has never lost her grace and dignity. While we all ask "why her," she never has... she would rather it be her than someone else. She is someone I admire with all I have, and pray I can be half of the person she is. No matter what happens, she has a flame inside her that just won't quit. We would all be blessed to have that same desire to live.
