I can remember it like it was yesterday. One evening we got word that Mom had a stroke. In minutes this beautiful woman who would sing her latin music couldn't speak anymore within minutes. It was a hard road, but than tragedy struck again. Two months later, they found cancer on her left lung. She went through all the treatments and became more fragile each day. It was so hard. My father never left her side. Watching the love my parents had for one another was amazing! Mom did pass away on Sept. 7, 2000 at the age of 75. Than in 2004, Dad was diagnoised with cancer also on his left lung also and his brain. We all just stood there in disbelief. Dad went through all his treatments and was proud to say he still had a little hair left. Eventually Dad died too, but he died of a heart attack. Dad joined mom Feb. 4, 2005. He actually beat the cancer! The cancer was gone!
The both leave a legacy the way the loved, cared for their family, friends. They had a smile for everyone no matter who they were. The greatest gifts to them was being grandparents. They have 33 now from their 5 children. The memories forever stay in all of our hearts. The love of music, food and family. Both cultures will always live forever in each of our hearts today, the czech side from my father and the mexican side from our mother. They taught us how important God was in our life. That with God anything is possible. The love for your family and to be proud of who you are not what you have! Amen! I am honored to have this opportunity to be apart of Relay for Life in honor of my parents, Robert & Guadalupe! Your daughter, Starr

Thanks for viewing! Having my son, David help me made this video more special to me. But I didn't double check it when he downloaded it. :( I apologize for the typos.
