My Aunt Leigh was recently diagnosed with liver cancer. When she started her treatment, the chemo was going to cause her to lose her hair. Her husband and sons planned to shave their heads also. My dad, her brother-in-law, said he was going to do it too. He told my husband, who joined in, as well as our son and my cousin. I never thought my dad would shave his head. He is one of those guys that doesn't go out without every hair in place. He really cares for Aunt Leigh, as we all do, and showed that support in a tangible way.
